All I have to say is praise the Lord! He has continued to provide over and over for me in this season. First off, I am blessed to say that I am fully funded!!! Hallelujah! Thank you all so much for also being obedient in the Great Commission. Because of that obedience, I am able to go serve others and meet the needs of those around us. That being said, any additional funds will be used for return flights and additional gear I may need to purchase. Second, I would love to give more details about the trip as it’s getting closer. On the 29th of this month, I will be flying to New York City to meet up with my team of about 25 other kids. From there, we are headed to Albania for a week of training camp! We will be trained and discipled for our upcoming experiences, and it will be a week full of prayer and worship. Then we are headed to Kotodesh to stay with host families. A majority of our ministry will be there, as long as Macedonia!! What an honor it is to go where Paul went on his missionary journey. I feel as though that is even more confirmation from the Lord in my calling into full-time missions. Our goal is to serve the children and youth of Albania, as well as serve in some old folk homes. We are willing to go wherever God wants us to go, and be flexible with our schedule and plans. From there, we are headed to Sorrento, Italy. What a testimony to God’s plan for my life! I am just in awe that He has placed me here and organized this all. We will be running a Christian coffee shop, and it will be an open door to the community. The space will be used for fellowship, community, prayer, and loving people as Jesus loves us.
In a meeting yesterday, I was asked what’s something I am most excited for. This has been something I’ve been dwelling on yesterday. I could say the food, or the views, or the people. While yes, those are all true, the most important thing is God’s agenda. We know He has picked the 25 of us for this trip, but we don’t know why. We don’t know how He is going to use all of us yet, and I am most excited to figure that out. Also, however He is going to use us has to be the thing I am beyond excited for. But we are ready. We are eager to serve the Lord and devote the next 3 months to nothing but that. We are preparing for this next season of our lives and praying against spiritual attacks. Would you join me in that? Would you guys be praying for me and my team as we prepare to leave in 2 weeks, as well as our launch to Europe? Some things include safe travel, physical and mental health, our families at home, the people we are going to serve, the leaders on this trip, and the mission we are walking into. Thank you all again so much for your part in this, but this is just the beginning.
